NAINITAL

Nainital is a beautiful hill station in Uttarakhand. It is set in a valley containing a pear-shaped lake, and surrounded by mountains. In winter, Nainital receives snowfall between December and February with the temperatures varying between a maximum of 15 °C (59 °F) and a minimum of −3 °C (27 °F). and in summer it maximum temperature 27 °C (81 °F); minimum temperature 7 °C (45 °F)

ALMORA

Almora is situated at the eastern part of Uttarakhand. It is one of the three hill districts of Kumaun region. The snowy region of mighty Himalaya attracts a large number of tourists in Almora. BINSAR

Binsar The interesting Binsar hill‐stations is situated in the Almora district of Uttarakhand. It is situated at the height of 2400 meters above the sea level, on the Jhandi Dhar hills and is one of the highest hill‐station in the Kumaon region. Here you can listen to uninterrupted birdsongs along with the local herbal tea of Brahmi, Tulsi & Thym. A revered temple dedicated to Lord Shiva witness the bygone regime of King Kalyan.

JIM CORBETT NATIONAL PARK

The Jim Corbett National Park is situated in the Nainital district of Uttarakhand and is the oldest national park in India which got established in 1936 by the name of Hailey National park. After India's independence the park was named as Ramganga National Park but later in 1956, it was renamed after Jim Corbett – the famous hunter turned conservationist and author, who played a major role in the establishment of the national park.

KAUSANI

Kausani is a hill station situated in the Bageshwar district of the Uttarakhand state of India. Mahatma Gandhi called this place the 'Switzerland of India', due to similarity in landscape. Kausani is known for its wide angle view of several lofty Himalayan Peaks as well as a pleasant view of the Kosi river and the Katyur Valley. From here, one can see the settlements of the Katyur valley, the river Gomti and the snow clad peaks of the Himalayas.

MUNSIYARI

Munsiyari is a comely hamlet situated in the Pithoragrh district of Uttarakhand state, previously known as Uttaranchal. Munsiyari is nestled in the snow capped peaks of the Himalayas affording splendid vistas of natural beauty. Munsiyari is perched at an altitude of 2298 mts above sea level. It is a place with snow and also referred as Little Kashmir. Munsiyari offers stunning views of snow capped higher Himalayan ranges.

MUKTESHWAR

Mukteshwar is situated at an elevation of 2,285mts above sea level in Nainital district of Uttarakhand state. Mukteshwar got its name from a 350year old temple Mukteshwer Dham whose residing deity is Lord Shiva. Mukteshwar was developed by the Britishers as research and education institute (IVRI) in 1893. Mukteshwar is bounded by fruit orchards and coniferous forests.

RISHIKESH

Rishikesh has been a pilgrimage destination of utmost significance. The name of the city is derived from"Hrishikesh". Hrishikesh represents the other name of the Hindus god Lord Vishnu. KEDARNATH

Kedarnath is the most inaccessible among the four chardham pilgrimage destinations. It takes almost 2 days to complete the journey from Gangotri. Kedarnath shrine is held in extreme regard for being counted among the twelve jyotirlingas of Hindu god Lord Shiva.

BADRINATH

Badrinath is one of the most sacred destinations of Chardham. It is the source of divinity for devotees.Badrinathoccupies a place in Chamoli district of Uttarakhand in northern India. The Badrinath shrine is the most revered pilgrimage destination for the pilgrims in all over the India.

GANGOTRI

Gangotri is one of the Char Dham of Uttarakhand. one of the most significant and holiest rivers in India. It attracts uncountable devotees every year. Gangotri is a highly revered destination for the Hindu pilgrims. Gangotri is also a part of chardham Yatra, located at an altitude of 3,048 m above the sea level.Gangotri is 300 km away from Dehradun city in Uttarakhand.

YAMUNOTRI

The source of River Yamuna, Yamunotri is also one of the four sites of Char Dham pilgrimage. Yamunotri is located at a height of 3293m above sea level and located in Uttarkashi district. It is surrounded by mountains on all sides and lies in close the Indo-China border.

VALLY OF FLOWER

The Valley of Flowers National Park is the second core zone of the Nanda Devi Biosphere Reserve. The credit for the discovery of the Valley of Flowers goes to the British mountaineers Franks S. Smythe and R.L. Holdsworth who incidentally reached this valley after a successful expedition of Mount Kamet in 1931. The valley of flowers occupies an area of 87.50 sq. kilo meters in the state of Uttarakhand.
